Health and technology is one of the strategic education and research areas of the university. Partial implemented in overall principles. Arbo service (institution physician) for University medical care, both physical and mental, for students and employees. Programs for preventing illness or function disordering. Already for more than 20 years there are several health programs by the Student Sports Centre of the University. But there is still great number of inactive people. The mind-set of regular inactive students and employees has to be changed. An interdisciplinary cooperation is needed and for that reason an interdisciplinary workgroup wellness community TUE is installed. Awareness and mind-set concerning physical- and stress reducing activities should be all over the campus. All departments and services must work together in this. The various programs should match the needs of our population at the university. The aim is to improve the existing health promotion. Some success is already there, because the impact of the Day of Physical Health is very high and the number of participants increased from 700 to 1500 employees in the last years.
